Cannondale wraps up a whole bunch of fun in their Fat CAAD 1. This monster truck brings it with a SmartFormed aluminum frame for a stiff, responsive ride that's also trim on weight, while Cannondale's Lefty FatMax fork brings 100mm of smoothing suspension to the table. Tubeless-ready Sun Ringle rims roll with confidence-swelling strength, and Schwalbe tires conform to practically any terrain with flotation and traction. SRAM's X01 drivetrain gives you an 11-speed set that goes up as well as it goes down. SRAM's Guide brakes are just what you need to bring the action to a swift, modulated stop. Cannondale supplies their lightweight handlebars, stem, and a comfortable saddle to make this a smash-ready bike that can go almost anywhere.

I have been waiting a few years to get this bike, since my Flash 29r was stolen. I can't wait ! The work order to build it was just placed ( Huge smile )
I have been riding fat bikes for just over a year and this is my second, but have ridden many as the entire family rides together and that includes 8 bikes from 5 different manufacturers. This is the favorite for all of us. It inspires confidence, is fast/light and most of all nimble! (if you can say that of a fattie). I ride snow, and sandy trails including technical singletracks and also like to downhill. Looking forward to seeing what this bike is truly capable of. First 2 weeks (approx 60miles) have been OUTSTANDING!
This fatbike is everything you want right out of the box! The new Guide Brakes are amazing along with the 1x set up and SRAM XO components are quick and versatile. Race ready or for pleasure this is more than a fatbike!!! The lefty make this bike a great addition to the fatbike world.
Full disclosure here; I own Trailhead. I can ride any fat bike. I like the Felt DD30. Rides like a mountain bike with big floaty tires. I thought that was enough for me. Until I rode the FAT CAAD. that Leftie fork is amazing - corners with confidence and provides just enough suspension to compliment the tires. Like I said; I can ride any fat bike. But I CHOOSE the FAT CAAD
