Comments:
Bought the bike used from a guy that was having medical problems. I would have easily paid full new price for it once I tried it out. I had ridden a 2016 Adventurer 400 and just had to have one. So I saw this Adventurer 1 on craigslist, and went to ride it before buying the the 2016. It is a 2014. I think the 2016 is a bit more comfy, but mine is a little faster and more responsive, and the grupo is a few notches above the 2016 400. I Love this bike and would be just as happy with it as a new 2016 model. Mine is lighter and fits me better too. It tracks and handles quick and amazingly precise for this class of bike. Find one and try it out. Ultra responsive efficiency for this type of bike. I have a smile on my face the whole time I am in it. I am riding it to the beach and back this weekend. 16 miles total.

I bought this Adv. 1 used. It was in very good condition. I had test ridden the new Adventure 400 and loved that bike. I was going to buy it for $589 when I found this bike for a lot less, with better component group. I at first thought the 400 was a better bike till I rode them, side by side. After that my conclusion is that the Adv. ONE is faster, lighter, and a bit more forgiving than the 400. Granted the comfort edge goes to the 400 but the more i adjust the seat and bars on the ONE the better it feels. If the front shock goes, i will go for a carbon fiber one. So after tweaking and fitting adjustments, the Adv.ONE is an awesome bike with top shelf components. Great bike for fast and long distance.

Bought this bike slightly used. Got A great deal. I am 65 and it was time for a more comfortable bike. BUT you don't really give up that much performance or response with this great frame. I hope Cannondale keeps making such great bicycles. I highly recommend this Adventure 1 for the purpose it was designed for. A bike I can ride many miles and smiles.
