SHIPPING (Continental U.S.)
Three shipping options are offered for merchandise delivery:
Standard Ground: $8.99
2-Day (weekdays): $19.99
1-Day (weekdays): $39.99
Note: Orders usually ship one business day after being placed.
Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight.
Hand Delivery is available for the following cities and towns: Watertown, Newton, Belmont, Waltham, Arlington, Cambridge, Brighton, Brookline, Wellesley, Needham, Weston, Lexington. Please call for pricing.
We do not ship outside of the Continental U.S.
INFORMATION SECURITY
We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.
IN-STORE PICKUP
Most orders will be ready within one business day.
You will receive a confirmation when your order is ready.
We are happy to accommodate quicker pickup times if you would kindly call us by phone to confirm the order prior to picking it up. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 10 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.
BACKORDERS
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order. You will be notified via e-mail and/or telephone as to when the backordered item will be available.
RETURNS, LAY-A-WAYS & SPECIAL ORDERS
RETURNS
If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back.Returns which are shipped back to us require a Return Authorization Number, which can be obtained by phone or e-mail. This RA Number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package or the package will be refused. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs).
BICYCLES - No refunds on bicycles. Bicycles may be exchanged for size, color or model within 7 days, only if in original, unridden condition.
POWER EQUIPMENT - No refunds on lawnmowers, snowthrowers, leaf blowers, trimmers, chainsaws or other gas products. Merchandise credit within 7 days, only if in original, unused condition.
REGULAR MERCHANDISE - All returns must be made within 14 days. Absolutely, no exceptions. Items must be in the original, un-opened and resellable condition with hang tags attached. Qualifying returns made with a receipt will be issued a refund in the same form/on same credit card used for initial purchase. Qualifying returns made without a receipt will be issued a store credit.
LAY-A-WAYS - Lay-a-way deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and invoice must be paid in full within 30 days. Lay-a-ways that are not paid in full within 30 days become merchandise credits.
SPECIAL ORDERS - Special order bikes, parts and equipment must be prepaid and are FINAL SALE. No exchanges or refunds.
GIFT CARDS
Lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards will not be canceled or replaced. It cannot be redeemed for cash. For balance inquiry call us at 617-926-1717 or visit our store. Additional value may be added to this card after initial purchase. After 24 months of non-use, a $2.00 per month service fee will be deducted from the remaining balance until depleted, unless prohibited by law.
PRICING & GENERAL INFORMATION
This website is intended to help you. We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices in our on-line catalog. And we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here. We appreciate your understanding should any of the prices or other information provided be incorrect and regret any inconvenience such mistakes may create. Please bring any errors you may find to our attention on your next visit or by calling or sending us an e-mail. We reserve the right to charge the correct price for items which are not accurately priced.
CHECKS - Must be drawn on a Massachusetts bank and accompanied by a MA drivers license and credit card. No temporary checks. We reserve the right to verify funds with bank, before releasing merchandise.
STORAGE CHARGES - A fee of $25.00 per month will be assessed on any repair item not picked up with 30 days of completion. Merchandise will be considered "abandoned" after 12 months and may be sold in order to recoup our cost of repairs.
